ROUNDUP | Sunday's other games

AFC
Patriots 12, Dolphins 0
FOXBORO, Mass. -- New England become the first AFC team to clinch a division title. Tedy Bruschi returned an interception 5 yards for a fourth-quarter touchdown, prompting many of the 45,738 fans who braved the snow -- at least 28 inches in the area since Friday night -- to clutch fistfuls of the powdery stuff and fling them into the wind, giving the stadium a festive and frosty air. All 68,436 seats at Gillette Stadium were sold, but there were 23,058 no-shows. The Patriots won their ninth consecutive game, including two over Miami, which would give them an edge in a tie-breaker. The shutout was New England's second in four games and the first sustained by the Dolphins in 32 games.
Colts 29, Titans 27
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Edgerrin James ran for two touchdowns and Mike Vanderjagt kicked five field goals as Indianapolis swept Tennessee, taking control of the division with three games remaining. The Colts improved to 6-1 on the road by scoring 19 straight points and forcing four fumbles, which they turned into nine points. In this game featuring MVP-candidate quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Steve McNair, Manning easily outplayed McNair, even using his legs to scramble for a couple of first downs. He ran for 20 yards and was 22-of-34 for 228 yards. McNair, who has a sore calf, finished 22-of-38 for 235 yards. McNair nearly rallied the Titans to a tie, throwing two touchdown passes in the final 9:24 and even running for a two-point conversion. But Dwight Freeney tipped another two-point conversion pass, and it fell incomplete.
Ravens 31, Bengals 13
BALTIMORE -- Jamal Lewis ran for 180 yards and a career-high three touchdowns, and Baltimore gained sole possession of first place in the AFC North. The Bengals came in looking to enhance their turnaround season with a fifth straight win. Instead, they played a game that was all too typical of their recent past, committing five turnovers and yielding a season-high six sacks. Lewis, the league's leading rusher, scored on runs of 1, 3 and 13 yards.
Broncos 45, Chiefs 27
DENVER -- Clinton Portis had 218 yards and a team-record five touchdowns, keeping the Broncos within reach of the playoffs. Portis had touchdown runs of 11 and 1 yards in the first half, then added scores of 59, 28 and 53 yards in the second. Portis had 188 yards after halftime and finished with his fifth consecutive 100-yard game -- and third straight with at least 160 yards. The Chiefs' Trent Green threw for 397 yards and Priest Holmes scored two touchdowns.
Jaguars 27, Texans 0
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Tony Brackens had two sacks to help Jacksonville stifle Houston's undermanned offense. The Jaguars handed the second-year Texans their first shutout. Houston's hopes were hurt when starting quarterback David Carr (shoulder) and running back Domanick Davis (thigh) were scratched. Fred Taylor broke a late 62-yard run to finish with a season-high 163 yards. Jimmy Smith caught a 32-yard touchdown and Byron Leftwich threw for 194 yards.
Bills 17, Jets 6
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Playing with a broken bone in his right leg and torn rib cartilage, Travis Henry ran for a career-high 169 yards and a touchdown for Buffalo. Drew Bledsoe had a 6-yard touchdown pass to Josh Reed, and the defense, led by Sam Adams' two sacks, limited the Jets to two field goals -- the first time in Chad Pennington's 18 career starts that New York failed to score a touchdown.
NFC
Eagles 36, Cowboys 10
PHILADELPHIA -- Philadelphia qualified for the playoffs as Donovan McNabb threw for 248 yards and three touchdowns. Correll Buckhalter ran for 115 yards, including a 64-yard TD run in the fourth quarter. McNabb, the worst-rated passer in the NFL through six games, has thrown for 1,513 yards, nine TDs and only one interception in the last six games.
Falcons 20, Panthers 14, OT
ATLANTA -- Michael Vick rushed for 145 yards -- the third-highest total by a quarterback in NFL history -- before Kevin Mathis scored on a 32-yard interception return in overtime. After Deon Grant picked off Vick's pass at the Carolina 2 to deny the Falcons a chance to win in regulation, the Panthers got the ball first in overtime. On third down, Jake Delhomme attempted a pass over the middle. Mathis picked off the ball and dived into the end zone.
Vikings 34, Seahawks 7
MINNEAPOLIS -- Daunte Culpepper and Randy Moss connected on a pair of long touchdown passes. Culpepper was 21-for-33 for 274 yards, three touchdowns and no turnovers. Moss had eight receptions for 133 yards, including scores of 47 and 45 yards. Kelly Campbell caught a 43-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter and rookie Mike Nattiel returned an interception 80 yards for a score. After scoring 110 points in the last three games, Seattle continued to struggle on the road and fell further behind St. Louis.
Redskins 20, Giants 7
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Bruce Smith set the career mark for sacks when he trapped Jesse Palmer in the fourth quarter for No. 199. Smith tackled Palmer for a 7-yard loss with 8:33 to play. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Redskins and handed the Giants their fifth straight loss, eliminating New York from the playoffs.
Buccaneers 14, Saints 7
NEW ORLEANS -- Tampa Bay scored two touchdowns in the final 1:25 of the first half, including one by Warren Sapp on a 1-yard reception. Tampa Bay held Deuce McAllister to 69 yards rushing, snapping his nine-game streak of gaining 100 yards or more.
Packers 34, Bears 21
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Mike McKenzie returned his second interception of the day 90 yards for a touchdown. The Packers were clinging to a 19-14 lead when McKenzie picked off Kordell Stewart's pass at the 10 and ran it all the way back. The Packers' Ahman Green ran 30 times for 80 yards. Jerry Azumah returned a kickoff for an 88-yard score for the Bears, who took a quick 14-0 lead but then turned the ball over five times.
