NHL Ex-Penguin Donovan scores three

CALGARY, Alberta (AP) -- Shean Donovan had a lot of fun at the expense of his old Pittsburgh teammates.
Donovan had three goals and an assist Sunday night, leading the Calgary Flames to a 6-1 victory over the Penguins on Sunday night.
Donovan capped his first career hat trick by converting a pass from Martin Gelinas with 1:14 left in the third period.
"It was awesome," Donovan said. "Just was in the right place at the right time. Sometimes that doesn't happen, but it was nice it happened tonight."
Acquired in a trade from Pittsburgh on March 11, 2002, Donovan has a six-game goal scoring streak -- with nine goals and two assists during that span. He's tied with Detroit's Brett Hull for the longest goal streak in the NHL this season and two games away from the club record.
"He's been an inspiration for everybody for the last three weeks," Gelinas said. "He's got a lot of speed as we all know but he's finishing around the net right now. He's exciting to watch and to play with."
Streaking Flames
Jordan Leopold, Stephane Yelle and Oleg Saprykin also scored for Calgary. The Flames have won four in a row and have picked up points in 10 straight.
Milan Kraft scored for Pittsburgh, which lost its third straight game with two stops to go on a five-game road trip. They have lost nine of their last 10 away from home.
"We didn't play that well in our own end against anybody," Penguins forward Steve McKenna said.
Miikka Kiprsoff made 21 saves to win his fourth in a row and improve to 6-1-0 since joining Calgary in a trade with San Jose three weeks ago.
Sebastien Caron got the start for Pittsburgh on the same day that the Penguins announced that rookie Marc-Andre Fleury will be loaned to Canada for the upcoming world junior championships.
