LOS ANGELES -- Kevin Garnett made a 20-foot jumper as time expired. Garnett's shot from the left wing over Elton Brand capped a fourth quarter rally by Minnesota, which trailed 83-68 with just over eight minutes remaining. Latrell Sprewell led the Timberwolves with 27 points. Garnett had 24 points, eight rebounds and five assists, and Sam Cassell added 24 points and 10 assists. Corey Maggette led the Clippers with 26 points and eight rebounds.
Grizzlies 93, Trail Blazers 79
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Bonzi Wells scored 16 points against his former Portland teammates. Pau Gasol had 17 points and 12 rebounds, and Mike Miller also scored 17 points for Memphis, which acquired Wells last week in a trade with Portland. Zach Randolph led Portland with 29 points and 13 rebounds.
Raptors 108, SuperSonics 98
TORONTO -- Vince Carter scored 30 points and Chris Bosh had 22 points and a career-high 16 rebounds to lead Toronto to its fourth straight victory. Jalen Rose added 18 points and 10 assists for the Raptors. Rashard Lewis and Vladimir Radmanovic each had 20 points for the SuperSonics, who have lost six of nine.
Kings 91, Pacers 88
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Brad Miller had 18 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists in his first game against his former team. Peja Stojakovic had 27 points and five rebounds and Mike Bibby added 14 points for the Kings, who led by 16 in the third quarter. Jermaine O'Neal had 20 points and 13 rebounds to lead Indiana. Indiana forward Ron Artest was ejected late in the second quarter for arguing an offensive foul call.
Celtics 116, Nuggets 111
DENVER -- Paul Pierce had 33 points and 10 assists and Eric Williams added a season-high 21 points for Boston. Pierce was 12-of-22 from the field and had seven rebounds to help Boston end a four-game losing streak. Reserve Rodney White had 23 points and Voshon Lenard added 20 points for the Nuggets, who had won six straight.
Lakers 94, Jazz 92
LOS ANGELES -- Devean George made a 3-pointer with 24.3 seconds remaining. George connected from the right corner after the Jazz, who trailed by 21 points in the third quarter, went ahead for the second time in the last minute on a jumper by rookie Mo Williams. After George's game-winner, Williams and Raja Bell missed outside jumpers that could have forged a tie. Shaquille O'Neal rebounded Bell's miss and dribbled out the clock. O'Neal had 19 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists and Kobe Bryant also had 19 points for the Lakers. George added 16 points and Slava Medvedenko and Gary Payton each scored 15.
Williams scored 12 of his career-high 16 points in the fourth quarter. DeShawn Stevenson added 13 points and rookie Sasha Pavlovic scored 12 for the Jazz.
