Mount Union, Bridgewater to play in semifinal

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (AP) -- Jermaine Taylor scored on a 64-yard fumble return and Brandon Wakefield threw a TD pass to lead Bridgewater, Va., to a 13-9 victory over Lycoming, Pa., in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division III playoffs Sunday.
The game was originally scheduled for Saturday, but was postponed because of snow.
Bridgewater (12-1) will play Mount Union next weekend in the semifinals in Alliance.
Lycoming (9-2) opened the scoring with a 13-yard touchdown pass from Phil Mann to Sean Hennigar on the Warriors' first possession. The extra point was wide left.
Taylor's score came early in the second quarter after Gary Nelson sacked Mann, forcing the fumble.
