The freshman guard from Newton Falls High scored 15 points for Westminster.
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- Freshman guard Desiree Sterling, a graduate of Newton Falls High School, scored 15 points to help lift the Westminster College women's basketball team (3-4) to a 66-58 win over Allegheny Saturday.
Jessica Kankoski hit for 14 points for Allegheny (2-4) which led 36-29 at the break.
Millersville 62, Slippery Rock 56
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Kristin Bonner was in with 20 points while Stacey Green added 13 more for The Rock (2-5).
Millersville (3-4) held a commanding 44-39 lead in rebounds.
Bethany 71, Thomas More 65
BETHANY, W. Va. -- Cardinal Mooney graduate Katie Hardie scored eight points while Kelly Richardson hit for 14 points and each made the all-tournament team for Bethany (4-3).
Joanna Bess scored 14 points for Thomas More (5-2).
Ohio Wesleyan 79, Hiram 43
HIRAM -- Kelly Heil scored 21 points on 9-for-14 shooting and Tifini Ray added 10 more to pace Ohio Wesleyan (6-1, 2-0 NCAC).
Hiram (0-3, 0-1) was led by Amanda Hummel with 15 points.
Muskingum 74, Mount Union 67
ALLIANCE -- Heidi Van Dyke, Lindsay Mast, Leslie Kimble and Joanna Clark scored 17, 15, 12 and 12 points, respectively, for Muskingum (2-1).
The Purple Raiders (3-2) got 21 points from Ashley Bourdeau while Lauren Friedrich contributed 19 points and 11 rebounds.
Geneva 60, Houghton 38
HOUGHTON, N. Y. -- Ali Cananzi hit for 13 points and Jen Rawding tacked on 10 more to help propel the Geneva attack.
Geneva (6-2, 2-0 AMC) held Houghton (2-4, 1-1) to just 15 field goals.
Geneva was in front by 18 points, 31-13, by intermission.
