GIRLS ROUNDUP Graf hits 23 as Poland gains first win, 64-46

POLAND -- Steffi Graf scored 23 points Saturday as the Poland High girls basketball team walloped Highland (Pa.), 64-46.
Nicole Costello netted 12 points while Erin Hawkins grabbed 10 rebounds for the Bulldogs (1-1). Jessica Toth passed out eight assists.
Highland (1-3) led 24-23 at the break.
Geneva 55, Warren Harding 44
GENEVA -- Geneva held a 38-31 after three quarters, then sealed the win as it outscored Warren Harding 17-13 in the fourth period.
Desirae Jenkins paced the Raiders (0-2) with 15 points and she had six steals. Jaleena Davis grabbed eight of 29 rebounds.
Alexis Korovich took scoring honors for Geneva with 17 points. Amy Kase added 14.
Walsh Jesuit 76, Mooney 50
YOUNGSTOWN -- Amber Dent and Katie Gregorevich combined for 35 points for the Warriors (2-1). Dent netted 18 and Gregorevich had 17 while Kathleen Gladstone contributed 10.
Amber Bodrick and Gina Brunetti each scored 10 for the Cardinals (0-2).
Crestview 65, Wellsville 49
COLUMBIANA -- Katie Kibby poured in 23 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks to lead the Rebels past Wellsville for their third straight win.
Elyse Mongillo added 13 points and 10 assists, while Bri Phillis scored 11 points.
Wellsville (2-1) was led by Ashley Lombardozzi with 14 points, while Michelle Ker added 12 and Melody Allison 10.
West Branch 69, Marlington 31
BELOIT -- Toni Arndt and Ashley Armstrong outscored the entire Marlington team as West Branch posted its third straight victory.
Arndt, a junior, scored a game-high 19 points and pulled down seven rebounds.
Armstrong, a senior, added 13 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and six steals.
The Warriors (3-0, 1-0 Northeastern Buckeye Conference), outrebounded Marlington 32-20 and forced 37 Marlington turnovers.
Sophomore Aimee Rice added 11 points for the Warriors.
Marlington (1-2, 0-1) was led by Samantha Roehrig with 11 points.
