NAIA PLAYOFFS Dearcorn's four touchdowns power Carroll to title contest

HELENA, Mont. -- D.J. Dearcorn ran for 80 yards and four touchdowns Saturday to lead top-ranked Carroll College to a 38-14 victory over St. Francis of Indiana in the NAIA semifinals.
Carroll (14-0), the defending national champion, will meet Northwestern Oklahoma State in the title game on Dec. 20 in Savannah, Tenn.
Tyler Emmert completed 25 of 34 passes for 280 yards and rushed for 36 yards and Carroll's other touchdown.
Carroll scored on its opening drives in both halves, taking a 21-7 lead on a 13-yard touchdown run by Dearcorn with 10:17 left in the third.
The Saints took a 28-7 lead on an 8-yard TD run by Dearcorn with 1:51 left in the third quarter.
St. Francis (12-1) put together a 13-play drive, capped by a 7-yard touchdown run by Chris Brammell, to make the score 28-14 with 12:21 remaining.
Carroll went up 31-14 on a 36-yard field goal by Zac Titus with 5:03 to play.
The Saints' final score came on a 2-yard TD run by Dearcorn with 24 seconds to play.
NW Oklahoma 16, Sioux Falls 13
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Northwest Oklahoma State scored a touchdown and field goal in the final minute to defeat Sioux Falls in the other semifinal.
The winning Rangers (11-1) drove 85 yards in 13 plays and scored on quarterback Patrick Crayton's 2-yard run with 41 seconds left. Keith Vermillion's extra-point kick was blocked, resulting in a 13-all tie.
Sioux Falls (12-1) took possession at its own 15-yard line with 33 seconds to play but lost a fumble two plays later. Vermillion kicked a 20-yard field goal with seven seconds left to send Northwest Oklahoma into the championship game against Carroll, Mont. on Dec. 20 at Hardin County, Tenn.
