HORIZON Hot-shooting Cleveland State cruises
Butler edged Evansville while Wright State defeated Ball State.

CLEVELAND -- Jermaine Robinson scored 22 points and Omari Westley added 15 as Cleveland State shot 55 percent from the field Saturday in beating Utah Valley State, 66-48.
The Vikings (3-2) sprinted to a 33-22 halftime lead and never looked back, hitting 54 percent of their shots in the first half and 56 percent in the second.
Ryan Toolson led Utah Valley State (1-4) with 14 points, with Ronnie Price adding 11.
The Wolverines hit just 32 percent of their shots and were outrebounded 36-25.
Butler 65, Evansville 64
INDIANAPOLIS -- Mike Monserez made two free throws with five seconds remaining for Butler.
Monserez finished with 17 points for Butler (3-2), which snapped a two-game losing streak and had its third straight game decided at the free throw line.
Monserez scored seven in the final four minutes, and went 5-for-14 from the field and 5-of-6 at the free throw line.
Avery Sheets had 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting, while Duane Lightfoot added 13 despite a sprained ankle that had threatened to keep him out of the lineup.
Andre Burton scored 16 points for the Purple Aces (0-4) and was among four players in double figures. Clint Cuffle had 13 points and nine rebounds, and Kyle Anslinger added 11 off the bench.
Wright St. 64, Ball St. 50
DAYTON -- Seth Doliboa scored 25 points, 15 in the second half, to rally Wright State.
The Cardinals (2-1), behind 14 points from Dennis Trammell, took a 38-27 first-half lead, but shot just 13 percent (4-of-30) in the second half and missed all 12 3-point attempts as they were outscored 36-13 by the Raiders (1-3).
Ball State shot 30 percent for the game (18-of-60) to 50 percent for Wright State (19-of-38). Wright State outscored Ball State 24-7 at the foul line.
The Raiders went on a 22-5 run in the first 11:29 of the second half to take a 52-42 lead. Peyton Stovall'a layup with 2:43 lead cut the lead to 56-50, but Wright State scored the final eight points of the game.
Vernard Hollins scored 15 points and pulled down 14 rebounds for the Raiders. He also led Wright State with five assists and seven turnovers.
DeShaun Wood scored 12 points and Vova Severovas added 10 for Wright State.
Trammell was held scoreless in the second half for the Cardinals. Roberts Owens, the only other player from Ball State to reach double figures, scored 12 points.
