Bus ride for Pitt
Seats are available for the YSU Penguin Club's Courtside Coaches group to attend the Youngstown State-Pittsburgh men's basketball game on Dec. 13.
The bus will depart from the B & amp;O Restaurant at 5:15 p.m. following a buffet which begins at 4. The $46 cost includes the buffet, bus ride and game ticker. There is a $38 fee for the bus and ticket only.

Baseball camp
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Youngstown State baseball coaching staff will sponsor a skills camp for boys and girls ages 7-18 on Dec. 26-27.
The camp at Beeghly Center will feature three options. The first option will be from 9 a.m. to noon and will be for the general player looking to improve his or her skills, covering fielding, throwing, base running and hitting.
The second option will be a videotaped session for pitchers from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
The final option is for players wishing to attend the camp all day for both sections. Each program will be advised by the YSU coaching staff.
The first option costs $75, the pitching session is $45 and the combined program is $95.
A $10 late fee will be charged for anyone not registering before Dec. 24.

Midland tournament
MIDLAND, Pa. -- The Midland Basketball Association's high school basketball tournament has games scheduled Friday and Saturday at the former Midland High on Midland Avenue.
Friday at 6 p.m., New Castle will play Pittsburgh Central Catholic. At 8 p.m., East Liverpool takes on Ambridge.
Saturday's schedule has Friday's losers playing at 6 p.m. in the consolation game and Friday's winners playing at 8 p.m. in the championship game.
The Association's "Girls Shoot-Out" on Dec. 13 will feature Blackhawk against New Castle and Fox Chapel against Hopewell.

STRUTHERS -- Allison Ginnetti had 11 points as Struthers' co-leader in scoring in a win over Chaney recently.
The girls basketball game write-up listed another player as co-leader with Holly Hickenbottom.
Kimbrough to fight
CHESTER, W. Va. -- Verquan Kimbrough will fight Margaro Senquiz in a four-round Featherweight bout at Mountaineer Race Track on Dec. 30.
Kimbrough has a 3-0 professional record. Eight fights are on the card.
Davey McBride (1-0) of Salem is scheduled to meet Jim Gruber (1-0) of Pittsburgh in a Lightweight bout.

New hearing date for Cleveland's Green
ROCKY RIVER -- Suspended Browns running back William Green will have a March 8 pretrial hearing on drunken driving and marijuana possession charges.
He appeared in court Wednesday, when the hearing had been scheduled. Green's lawyer was granted the new date, telling the judge he recently moved his office and did not receive case documents.

ASHLAND -- Lee Owens, fired last month as football coach at Akron, took the same job at Division II Ashland on Wednesday.
