ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Hakim Warrick scored 27 points and Billy Edelin added 20 to lead No. 16 Syracuse over St. Bonaventure 87-78 Wednesday night.
It was the Orangemen's 11th straight win over the Bonnies.
The game was played at Blue Cross Arena, the third time the upstate New York rivals have met in Rochester.
Gerry McNamara had 19 points, Josh Pace 11 and Craig Forth finished with eight points and a career-high 12 rebounds for the Orange (2-1).
Marques Green led St. Bonaventure with 24 points, while Ahmad Smith had 17, Patrick Lottin 13 and Yankuba Camara 10.
No. 17 Gonzaga 86, Washington 62
SEATTLE -- Cory Violette scored 15 points while Tony Skinner and Blake Stepp each had 14 to lead Gonzaga.
The Bulldogs (4-1) won with steady defense, which only partly explained Washington's 31 percent shooting. The Huskies (3-1) couldn't make a field goal over a 15-minute span during a 39-6 Gonzaga run that spanned halftime.
Ronny Turiaf scored 12 points and Richard Fox had 12 rebounds as the Bulldogs held a 48-26 edge on the boards and shot 61 percent.
Will Conroy scored 15 points to lead Washington.
No. 22 Pittsburgh 59, Duquesne 45
PITTSBURGH -- Carl Krauser scored 17 points and keyed a decisive 20-5 run that started early in the second half to carry the Panthers past their stubborn city rival.
Playing before Duquesne's first home sellout in nine years, the Panthers (5-0) didn't begin pulling away until Krauser and Jaron Brown scored on consecutive steals and layups that made it 33-28 and started the run.
Ryan Tricco had 10 points for the Dukes (1-2).
No. 25 Oklahoma St. 83,Texas-San Antonio 53
STILLWATER, Okla. -- Tony Allen scored 18 of his 19 points during an eight-minute spurt that spanned halftime to spark the Cowboys.
Oklahoma State (4-0) had little trouble pulling away from the undersized Roadrunners and outscored them 46-6 in the paint.
LeRoy Hurd led the Roadrunners (1-4) with 17 points.
