XYOUNGSTOWN -- Shannon C. Cook, 4417 South Ave., Boardman, and Scott R. Valentine, 6359 W. Calla Road, Canfield, were united in married by the Rev. Phillip Rogers at 2 p.m. Oct. 25 at St. Dominic Church, and honored afterward during a reception at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Social Hall.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard A. Cook Jr., 4018 Euclid Blvd., and son of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip J. Valentine of the Canfield address, honeymooned in Aruba and live in Boardman.
Austrian crystals enhanced the long sleeves and bodice of the bride's white A-line gown and the skirt flowed into a cathedral train.
Charcoal black and platinum gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Amy Petracci, and the bridesmaids, Niki Dispenza, Nina DiGregory, Joy Blasko, Sheryl Shevchik, Jeana Fusillo, Andrea Campbell, Deana Shane, Carrie Sullivan, and Colleen Klern.
Neil Valentine and Patrick Hartwig shared best man duties, and groomsmen were Rick Cook, Zachary Cook, Jeremy Valentine, Roger Shuback, Nathan Molnar, Chuck Reigrut, Jake Haus, Johnny Stanton, and Steve Petracci. Ring bearers were Eddie Petracci and Phillip Dispenza.
The bride holds a master's degree in rehabilitation counseling from Bowling Green State University, and is a vocational evaluator with Forum Health Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital, Warren.
The groom, a sales manager with Litehouse in Boardman, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in psychology.
