Dec. 1
Criminal damaging: Someone used part of an excavator to damage a storage shed at a construction site on Trumbull Hill.
LIBERTY
Nov. 25
Theft: Police cited a 54-year-old Girard man on a theft charge after two 12-packs of beer were stolen from Speedway gas station, 4210 Belmont Ave.
Nov. 26
Theft: An employee at the Youngstown Crab Co., 3917 Belmont Ave., alleged a co-worker has taken about $490 in cash from the business over a five-month period.
Robbery: Two employees at McDonald's restaurant, 3630 Belmont Ave., reported a man sneaked up on them while they were outside, followed the two into the business and forced them at gunpoint to give him an undetermined amount of money from a safe.
Nov. 28
Recovered property: Police discovered a trailer in the 1700 block of Harding Avenue that was determined to have been stolen in Salem.
Theft: A Youngstown woman reported her wallet containing $650 was stolen while she was at Big Lots, 3491 Belmont Ave.
Nov. 29
Attempted robbery: Police arrested a 34-year-old Warren man behind the former Ames building in the Liberty Plaza on charges of attempted robbery and attempted abduction. A Youngstown woman alleged he entered her van's passenger-side door, grabbed her arm and tried to force her to drive after she left Big Lots. The suspect also was wanted on a warrant charging him with theft.
Domestic violence: A 48-year-old man was arrested at his Logan Way residence on a domestic violence charge after his girlfriend alleged he punched her in the right arm and in the face during an argument they had while he was intoxicated.
Domestic violence: A 37-year-old Youngstown man was charged with domestic violence after police responded to a situation and said they saw him strike his wife as the two argued inside their vehicle parked at the Quality Inn, 4055 Belmont Ave. The victim had a small cut on her left hand.
Auto theft: A 1994 Buick Century was stolen in the 4100 block of Logan Gate Road.
Criminal damaging: Someone broke a vehicle's driver's-side door, in the 4100 block of Logan Gate Road, before removing a compact-disc player and 96 CDs.
Nov. 30
Recovered property: Police recovered a 1990 Olds 98, stolen in Youngstown, in a parking lot in the 4100 block of Logan Gate Road.
Dec. 1
Recovered property: After responding to a report of a suspected shoplifter at K & amp;P Sportswear, 3551 Belmont Ave., police discovered in the man's possession a wallet he claimed to have found that contained a Social Security card and other items.
