Open reception planned to honor Batyski 60th



XSALEM -- Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Batyski of Salem will be guests of honor during an open house to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary.
The event is planned for 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Green Township Community Building, Lisbon Road, Greenford. The honorees' daughters and sons-in-law, Carole and James Murray and Susan and James Bowman, all of Salem, will be hosts for the reception.
The former Beulah Grace and Mr. Batyski were married Dec. 16, 1943, at St. Paul Church.
Mrs. Batyski, now retired, worked at the G.C. Murphy Co. She is a member of First Baptist Church and is a volunteer at the Office of Aging.
Also retired, Mr. Batyski worked at United Tool and Die and was a bus driver for South Range School District. He is a member of St. Paul where he is an usher. Mr. Batyski also is a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren complete the family.
