MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE Buffalo scores its first victory, 82-64 against Bowling Green

AMHERST N.Y. -- Turner Battle scored 17 points to lead Buffalo to an 82-64 win over Bowling Green on Wednesday night in the Mid-American Conference opener for both teams.
Daniel Gilbert and Jason Bird each scored 14 points for the Bulls (1-3), while Mario Jordan and Roderick Middleton had 12 apiece.
Austin Montgomery led Bowling Green (2-2) with 20 points. Ronald Lewis had 14 and Kevin Netter scored 10.
Dayton 67, Miami, Ohio 61
DAYTON -- Ramod Marshall scored six of his 12 points down the stretch for Dayton (5-0). Keith Waleskowski led Dayton with 19 points and nine rebounds. Sean Finn and Mark Jones added 12 points apiece.
Juby Johnson led the RedHawks (2-1) with 28 points and Josh Hausfeld finished with 14.
Toledo 64, Arkansas St. 63
JONESBORO, Ark. -- Sam Villegas hit a 3-pointer with nine seconds remaining to give Toledo (4-0) the win.
Villegas led the Rockets with 17 points and Justin Ingram added 14.
J.J. Montgomery led Arkansas State (3-1) with 22 points and 13 rebounds. Dewarick Spencer scored 19 points and Tevoris Thompson had 12.
Boston U. 67, Ohio 64, 2 OT
ATHENS -- Rashad Bell scored 23 points and Chaz Carr added 22 to lead Boston University.
Delvar Barrett led the Bobcats (1-4) with 14 points. Sonny Troutman added 13 points, Diamond Gladney scored 12 and Jeff Halbert had 10.
Bradley 71, Cent. Michigan 65
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- Phillip Gilbert and Marcellus Sommerville each scored 20 points to lead Bradley (5-1). Gerrit Brigitha scored 15 to lead the Chippewas (1-4). Freshman David Hoskins added 13 for Central Michigan and T.J. Meerman and Kevin Nelson both had 12.
