MEGAN LINDERIC ZIMMERS
XPOLAND -- Poland Presbyterian Church was the setting at 2 p.m. Nov. 1 for the wedding of Megan Lind, daughter of Ed and Ann Lind, 3476 Hummingbird Hill, and Eric Zimmers, son of Jim and Mary Ann Zimmers, 7675 Clingan Road.
The Rev. Dr. Robert Hoover officiated, and a reception was held at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman. The couple are living at 2825 Sherbrooke Road, Toledo, since returning from a honeymoon to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Fashioned with a princess silhouette of white matte satin, the bride's gown featured spaghetti straps and a scalloped bodice embellished with crystals and pearls. It was designed with a detachable cathedral train. A band of crystals, rhinestones and pearls held her layered fingertip veil.
Aubergine gowns were worn by Kathy Kalicatzaros, matron of honor; Lindsay Ferenczy, maid of honor; and the bridesmaids, Colleen Britt, Mary Bloomberg, Cassie Swiger and Stacy Poyner.
Jim Zimmers performed the duties of best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Bob Pavlich; Randy Laughner; Dave Lind, the bride's brother; Lee Gemma; and Kevin Juillerat. The bride's cousin, Tyler Measel, was ring bearer, and also participating were her cousins, Michelle and Ryan Measel.
Mrs. Zimmers holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Toledo and is a teacher at KinderCare Learning Centers in Sylvania.
Her husband attended Youngstown State University. He is a locomotive engineer with Norfolk Southern in Toledo.
