STORRS, Conn. -- Ann Strother had 14 points, seven rebounds and five assists to lead top-ranked Connecticut, extending the Huskies' home winning streak to 67 games. Diana Taurasi added 13 points, and Barbara Turner scored all 12 of hers in the second half to help UConn (4-0) shake off a sloppy start. The Huskies are two wins short of matching Tennessee's record for most consecutive victories at home. The Huskies had five turnovers in the first four minutes, and Siena (2-3) made them pay. The Saints scored seven of their first nine points off turnovers and built a 9-2 lead. But UConn recovered, led 29-23 at the break and took command with a 27-5 surge in the second half.

RUSTON, La. -- Amber Obaze scored 18 points, and Amisha Carter added 15 points and 14 rebounds for Louisiana Tech. Tech (3-0) dominated the game from start to finish, going up by 30 or more points during the final 7 1/2 minutes of the opening half and prevailing by 40-plus points after the break against Tulane (1-3).

MANHATTAN, Kan. -- Kendra Wecker had 20 points and 11 rebounds, and Laurie Koehn added 15 on five 3-pointers for Kansas State. Despite 22 turnovers, the Wildcats won their 21st straight home game. Kansas State (3-2) trailed only once, 3-0 in the opening minute, and held the Huskies (2-2) to just 26.5 percent shooting.

BATON ROUGE, La. -- Doneeka Hodges scored 23 points, and Seimone Augustus added 19 for LSU. Tillie Willis added 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Tigers (3-2), while Temeka Johnson dished out 13 assists. Rutgers (3-3) was led by Cappie Pondexter's 18 points. Chelsea Newton added 12 and Shalicia Hurns had 11, plus 10 rebounds.
No. 19 Utah 69, St. Mary's 40
SALT LAKE CITY -- Kim Smith scored 18 points, and No. 19 Utah held St. Mary's of California to just 11 in the first half. Utah (4-1) shut out St. Mary's (3-2) for the first 5:47 and had little trouble winning for the third time in a row. Shona Thorburn had 10 points and 10 rebounds and Mandie Little 10 points for the Utes, who were 25-for-51 from the field and forced 19 turnovers.
No. 21 TCU 73, Texas-Arlington 43
FORT WORTH, Texas -- Adrienne Ross scored 12 points and Stephanie Faulkner added 11 points and seven rebounds for TCU, off to its best start in 11 years. TCU (4-0) took the lead with 16:56 to go in the first half on a shot by Niki Newton, and led 42-24 at the break. The victory over Texas-Arlington (2-3) gave the Horned Frogs their best beginning since a 5-0 start in 1992-93.
Oklahoma St. 62, No. 24 Michigan St. 60
STILLWATER, Okla. -- Nina Stone made two free throws with 26 seconds remaining to give Oklahoma State the win. Trisha Skibbe had 20 points and six rebounds to lead Oklahoma State (2-3), which also got 18 points from Stone. Liz Shimek had 17 points and eight rebounds for Michigan State (4-1). She made two free throws to give the Spartans a 60-59 lead with 47 seconds to go, but Stone put her team back on top.
