Nov. 17
Auto theft: A 1990 Oldsmobile Delta 88 was stolen in the 50 block of Prestwick Drive.
Attempted auto theft: Someone tried to steal a 1997 Pontiac Bonneville from a carport in the 5300 block of Southern Boulevard.
Theft: A man in the 20 block of Shadyside Drive discovered two digital cameras and a 35mm camera missing from his residence.
Theft: Police arrested a 45-year-old Youngstown man on a theft charge after a cigarette lighter, a roll of antacid tablets, a tube of deodorant and other items were stolen from Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Auto theft: A 1991 Chevy Caprice was stolen in the 3900 block of Hudson Drive.
Criminal damage: Someone used eggs to damage a car's finish in the 7900 block of Walnut Street.
Arrest: Police charged a 17-year-old Boardman girl with being an unruly juvenile.
Criminal damage: A man reported numerous scratches to his vehicle's passenger-side door lock in the 5200 block of West Boulevard, which caused $700 damage.
Theft: Police arrested a 13-year-old Campbell boy on a theft charge after $22 worth of toys and goods was stolen from Christmas City, 321 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Vandalism: Someone did $150 in damage to a van's driver's-side window in the 200 block of Melbourne Avenue.
Criminal damage: A car's front and rear driver's-side windows were broken in the 6700 block of Bluebird Lane.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into a Shell True North gas station, 8600 Glenwood Ave., and took 27 cartons of cigarettes.
Attempted auto theft: Someone broke two of a vehicle's vent windows and damaged its steering column while trying to steal a car in the 4100 block of Hillman Way.

Theft, criminal damage: A man in the 100 block of Clifton Drive reported his car's driver's-side door handle broken, and a compact-disc/stereo-MP3 player, 100 CDs, a $150 pair of speakers and a $150 amplifier taken. Also, another Clifton Drive man discovered his vehicle broken into and a CD case with 45 CDs and an AM-FM CD player removed.
Theft: Police arrested a 23-year-old Youngstown man on a theft charge after $70 worth of gasoline was stolen from a Shell gas station, 5135 Market St.
Theft: A woman in the 4800 block of Grover Drive reported a computer monitor, a 24-inch computer tower and a $250 suede fur coat stolen from her car.
Theft, criminal damage: A man in the 4500 block of Waseka Lane reported his vehicle's passenger-side door lock damaged, and a portable CD player, a gym bag and five CDs stolen.
Theft: A 23-year-old man stole 14 warm-up suits from Dilliard's in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A Struthers man reported his car broken into and numerous painkillers and other medications removed while the vehicle was in the 7500 block of California Avenue.
Theft: An employee at Denny's Restaurant, 154 Boardman-Canfield Road, reported $110 had been removed from a cash register.
Theft: A man in the 100 block of Beechwood Drive reported a $270 CD player, 60 to 70 CDs, a portable CD player, a $155 winter coat and a sweat shirt stolen from his vehicle.
Vandalism: Someone broke a stained-glass window at Fairlawn Cemetery, 5400 Market St., causing $800 in damage.
Vandalism: A woman reported two double-pane garage door windows broken at her residence in the 800 block of Squirrel Hill Drive.
Arrests: Police arrested two 16-year-old Struthers girls at Kohl's, 383 Boardman-Poland Road. Each was charged with theft and possession of tobacco while under age 18, and one girl also was charged with obstructing official business.
Theft: A man in his 30s stole six three-piece sets of children's clothing worth $228 from Dilliard's.
Burglary: Police discovered a residence in the 200 block of Argyle Avenue had been burglarized.
Theft, criminal damage: An employee at Oscar's, 1315 Boardman-Canfield Road, discovered his vehicle's driver's-side window broken, and an amplifier, an AM-FM CD radio, 30 CDs and a $50 money clip with several credit cards stolen.
Criminal damage: An employee at Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive, reported her car's rear passenger-side tire slashed while she was at work.

Truck theft: A man reported a 1989 Ford F-150 company truck stolen from a construction site in the 7900 block of Walnut Street.
Arrest: A 47-year-old Youngstown man was arrested at a Shell gas station, 5135 Market St., on one count of failure to appear in court to face a theft charge.
Identity theft: A woman in the 600 block of Saddlebrook Drive discovered a credit card was obtained in her name without her knowledge or consent.
Criminal damage: A vehicle's driver's-side window was broken in the 400 block of Brookfield Avenue.
Arrest: A 15-year-old boy was arrested at his Stratmore Avenue residence on a charge of being an unruly juvenile.

Forgery: A woman, 22, reportedly passed and forged a $4,751 bad check at Seven Seventeen Credit Union, 7371 California Ave.
Theft: A man in his early 30s reportedly took a $60 leather coat and numerous items from an Aldi grocery store, 6131 South Ave.
Vandalism, criminal damage: A woman in the 7300 block of Bonnie Place reported three tires on her vehicle had been slashed and that someone caused $1,000 in damage by scratching the finish on her car's hood and both sides.
Auto theft: A 1995 Olds Cutlass Ciera was stolen from a parking lot in the 4800 block of Market Street.
Theft: An employee at Marc's, 7121 Tiffany Blvd., discovered $60 to $75 stolen from a break room.
Burglary: Someone broke into an apartment in the 100 block of Shields Road and stole a $150 double-barrel shotgun.
Bad check, forgery: A woman, 22, reportedly passed and forged a $4,473.50 bad check at Seven Seventeen Credit Union.

Criminal damage: A woman reported $200 in damage from scratches on her vehicle's passenger-side door while the car was at Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Criminal mischief: A Niles woman discovered some lug nuts and a hubcap missing from a tire on her car while it was parked at the Red Roof Inn, 1051 Tiffany Blvd.
Domestic violence: A Youngstown man, 48, was arrested near Market Street and Midlothian Boulevard and charged with domestic violence after his wife alleged he threatened her when he came to pick her up at Wal-Mart.
Theft: Police arrested a 50-year-old Youngstown man on a theft charge after four bottles of cough syrup and about 34 boxes of medications were stolen from Family Dollar, 4030 Market St. He also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after officers say they found a suspected crack pipe.
Criminal damage: A woman reported damage to two of her vehicle's tires while the car was in a carport in the 4100 block of Brookwood Avenue.
Credit-card fraud: A woman in the 500 block of Boardman-Canfield Road reported a fraudulent $500 charge on her credit card by a woman in her 30s.
Criminal mischief: A man reported an undetermined amount of damage to his front yard and a drain pipe at his residence in the 1800 block of Sequoya Drive.
Criminal damage: Someone did damage to a grass field at Boardman High School, 7777 Glenwood Ave.
Theft: Police arrested a 46-year-old Warren woman on a theft charge after two sweat shirts, two pairs of jogging pants, five pairs of nylon pants, five jackets, four shirts and two hats were stolen from Dilliard's. She also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police say they found a suspected crack pipe in her purse.
Theft: An 18-year-old Youngstown woman faced a theft charge after $55 worth of cosmetics was stolen from Target, 417 Boardman-Poland Road.
Domestic violence: A 53-year-old woman was arrested at her Orlo Lane home on a domestic-violence charge after a man at the residence reported being a victim.
Burglary: A woman in the 30 block of Shields Road reported her apartment broken into and a $20 phone and a Christmas decoration taken.

Domestic violence: A Youngstown man, 43, was arrested at his Fifth Avenue residence and charged with domestic violence after a Shields Road woman reported the man to police.
Attempted auto theft: Someone broke a passenger-side window on a 1993 Buick Century and damaged its steering column in the 4200 block of Hillman Way.
Recovered property: Police recovered a 1988 Olds 98, stolen in Youngstown, in a carport at a vacant apartment in the 4500 block of Alderwood Drive.
Theft: A woman reported a $3,000 diamond wedding ring and two gold bracelets removed from a bathroom at her residence in the 1300 block of Aspen Lane.
Theft: An employee at Rainbow Rentals, 6810 Market St., reported a $275 dining table set stolen.
Theft: A woman reported her granddaughter's bicycle was taken from the garage at a residence in the 5200 block of Pinetree Lane.
Burglary: A woman returned to her apartment in the 100 block of Lemans Drive and discovered several areas of carpeting pulled up and several floor boards damaged.
Auto theft: A 1990 Buick Century was stolen from the Prizant's Carpet parking lot, 6915 Market St.
Criminal damage: A man in the 1400 block of Turnberry Drive reported someone drove a vehicle through his and his neighbor's front lawns.
Assault: A man in the 4400 block of South Avenue said a man, 46, assaulted him in the victim's living room.
Theft: A 15-year-old Struthers girl was charged with theft after about $20 worth of lip gloss and makeup were taken from Wal-Mart.
Theft: Police arrested a 16-year-old Struthers boy on a theft charge after a pair of earrings and an air freshener were stolen from Wal-Mart.
Theft: A Lisbon man, 19, was charged with theft after two sweaters were stolen from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall.

Criminal damage: A woman in the 6800 block of Colleen Drive discovered two tire tracks about 75 feet long in her yard and her neighbor's, resulting in about $150 worth of damage.
Theft: A woman reported seven greeting cards and $10 removed from her residence in the 200 block of Carter Circle.
Theft: Someone stole an envelope containing a $75 personal check from a mailbox of a residence in the 200 block of Waggaman Circle.
Theft: A man reported someone removed his father's $800 snowplow from the victim's driveway in the 7400 block of Glenwood Avenue.
Criminal damage: Someone did about $1,000 in damage to cement in front of two buildings in the 7300 block of Market Street.
Arrest: After responding to a report of someone with a concealed weapon at Buffalo Wild Wings in the Southern Park Mall, police charged a 22-year-old Poland man near Walker Mill Road with carrying a concealed weapon.
Theft: A man left Target with four CDs he hadn't purchased.
Arrests: Police arrested two 16-year-old Boardman boys at Burger King, 841 Boardman-Poland Road, and charged them with underage possession of alcohol after finding four bottles of beer.
Drugs: An 18-year-old Boardman man was arrested at a Stillson Place residence on an alcohol charge. He also was cited on a charge of possession of drugs.

Theft: A car stereo was removed from a vehicle at The Honda Store, 448 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Breaking and entering: A man in his 30s broke into Four Wheels, 5925 South Ave., and stole a $5,000 Honda Rancher all-terrain vehicle.
Recovered property: Police recovered a stolen 1990 Buick Century in the Four Wheels parking lot.
Criminal damage: Someone damaged 12 bags of compound and a fireplace insert at a construction site in the 400 block of Garden Ridge Court.
Theft: A 40-year-old Youngstown man was charged with theft after eight DVDs were stolen from Sam's Club, 7469 South Ave.
Theft: A Chestnut Lane man reported mail removed from his mailbox and thrown into a nearby sewer drain. Also, a neighbor discovered mail was taken from his mailbox and scattered in nearby yards.
Arrest: A 40-year-old Youngstown man was arrested at the J.C. Penney store and charged with obstructing official business.
Auto theft: A 1998 Dodge Intrepid was stolen in the Buffalo Wild Wings parking lot.
Theft: Police charged a 36-year-old Youngstown woman with theft after a portable CD player, two undergarments and a box of pepper were stolen from Value City Department Store, 1130 Boardman-Poland Road. She also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing official business.

Domestic violence: Police arrested a 26-year-old Ohio Avenue man at his home on a domestic-violence charge after his wife alleged he grabbed her arm and nose and slapped her face during an argument at their residence. He also was charged with resisting arrest.
