CLOSE CALL: Lynn Baker holds the shotgun that saved his life after he was attacked by three dogs Sunday outside his home in Elbert County, Colo. His 16-year-old son, Cody, heard his screams and used the shotgun to wound and distract the dogs while Baker escaped. The dogs, which had killed a woman and wounded several other people, were eventually killed by Cody and a deputy.
