DIVISION II North Alabama tops Carson-Newman, 41-9

FLORENCE, Ala. -- Will Hall passed for 335 yards and three touchdowns to give North Alabama a 41-9 victory over Carson-Newman in the Division II quarterfinals Saturday.
The Lions (13-0) took over early in the second quarter, bouncing back from a scoreless first quarter that only saw Angel Gonzalez's 18-yard field goal for the Eagles (11-2).
Travis Johnston kicked field goals of 33 yards and 26 yards and Hall stretched the lead by throwing an 8-yard touchdown pass to DeMarcus Blount followed by a 12-yarder to David Mooneyham, making it 20-3.
Rayvon Howard, who rushed 53 yards for the Eagles, scored on a 16-yard run with 4:13 left in the fourth quarter, but Carson-Newman never got closer.
North Dakota 36, Winona State 29
GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- Adam Roland's 1-yard touchdown run with 24 seconds left capped a last-minute rally and lifted North Dakota over Winona State.
The Sioux, trailing 29-28, drove 80 yards in the final two minutes. The drive was sparked by a 69-yard pass from John Bowenkamp to Caleb Johnson, which moved the ball to the Warriors 5. Roland scored two plays later.
Winona State (11-2) scored 22 unanswered points in the second half and took a 29-28 lead with 1:52 left on a 19-yard halfback pass to Chris Samp. North Dakota (11-1) scored its other four touchdowns in the second quarter, including a 73-yard punt return by Travis Lueck.
The Sioux will play North Alabama in next week's semifinals.
Texas A & amp;M Kingsville 49, Central Oklahoma 6
KINGSVILLE, Texas -- Larry Williams rushed for 107 yards and scored four touchdowns as Texas A & amp;M-Kingsville beat Central Oklahoma. Williams scored on TD runs of 26, 7 and 5 yards and caught a 13-yard pass from Daniel Taylor as A & amp;M-Kingsville (11-1) took a 32-0 halftime lead. Central Oklahoma (9-3) turned the ball over six times, including four interceptions by Erick Johnson. He finished 8-of-21 for 104 yards and was sacked twice.
Grand Valley St. 10, Saginaw Valley St. 3
UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. -- Scott Mackey returned an interception 46 yards for a touchdown and Grand Valley State's defense sacked Saginaw Valley State quarterback Mark Radlinski seven times. The defending national champion Lakers take a 12-1 record into next week's semifinals, while the Cardinals end their season at the same 12-1 mark.
