Police probe slaying of abducted woman

MONROEVILLE, Pa. (AP) -- Police were questioning at least two people in the death of a woman whose bound body was found Friday along a rural road hours after she was reportedly abducted.
Allegheny County police know who the woman is but haven't released her name.
Her body was found about 9 a.m. in Monroeville -- about 15 miles east of Pittsburgh -- when a motorist saw the 40-year-old lying about 20 feet from the side of Thompson Run Road.
Wanda Keener of Tarentum said the woman had moved in with her recently and was trying to beat a drug habit. Keener said the dead woman has at least one child.
Keener said two people came to her apartment about 2 a.m. and took the woman away at knife point after making her undress. Keener said the two were upset about a drug debt the woman owed.
Police haven't identified the people being questioned, but said they expect to file kidnapping and homicide charges in the case.
County police Supt. Ken Fulton said the woman's feet were taped together and there was tape over her mouth. Police said it appeared the woman had been tortured and then dumped from a vehicle along the road.
