YOUNGSTOWN -- Glorybound, a six-member Christian group, has released its 17-track debut CD titled "Imagine," which features standards including "Amazing Grace," "Just a Closer Walk With Thee," and "Old Rugged Cross" and original songs including "Glorybound," "Let's Go Walking," and "You Care For Me."
The band, consisting of Sephanie McMillin, Amy and Rich Russell, Gary Grover, and Eric and Terry Clevenger has played in Mahoning and Columbiana counties. CDs cost $12 plus $2.50 shipping and handling. Call (330) 549-3511 or (330) 426-2382.
Holiday study program
McDONALD -- Woodland Park United Methodist Church, 601 Ohio Ave., will begin a Christmas series, "A Season of Wonder: Opening the Door to Christmas and Beyond," at the services at 9 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
Joint Christmas concert
BOARDMAN -- The Beaver Valley Choral Society will present a Christmas concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church, 1463 Shields Road.
The event is sponsored by Calvary Baptist and Western Reserve Baptist churches.
Quartet to perform
AUSTINTOWN -- The Christian musical group Sojourner will perform at 10:45 a.m. Dec. 7 at First Free Will Baptist Church, 5530 New Road.
Sojourner is a four-man music ministry based in Findlay that began in 1991.
Candle song service
CANFIELD -- Candle song, a traditional Advent service with the theme "Advent -- A Challenge to Change," will be at 6:45 p.m. Dec. 7 at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, 281 Glenview Drive.

Living Nativity scene

Holiday concerts
BOARDMAN -- Westminster Presbyterian Church, 19 Stadium Drive, will present a Christmas concert with the Wade Raridon Singers at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 7.
The church will also have a procession with lessons and carols with the Chancel Choir, The Edelweiss Woodwind Quartet and soloists at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 14. Call (330) 758-4513.
Christmas musical benefit
NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- "Joy to the World," a celebration of Christmas, will be at 7 p.m. Dec. 14 at Westfield Presbyterian Church, 1363 Mt. Jackson Road.
Sacred music will be provided by the Westfield Chancel Choir, Faithful Handbell Ringers and The Sheet and Tube Brass Quartet.

WARREN -- The female quartet Everlasting Hope will give a Christmas concert at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Warren First Church of the Nazarene, 4179 Parkman Road.

Adoration during Advent
GIRARD -- Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be observed between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Fridays during Advent at St. Rose Church, 48 E. Main St. Mass will be at 8:30 a.m., and Benediction will be celebrated at 7 p.m.
Gospel singer scheduled
BRISTOLVILLE -- Gospel singer Dan Schall will sing at 11 a.m. Sunday at Bristolville United Methodist Church, state Route 45.
