Wellses' 60th celebrated at poolside party



XSEMINOLE, Fla. -- Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Wells of Seminole, Fla., formerly of Struthers, marked their 60th wedding anniversary during a family dinner and poolside party July 29 at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Jerri and Skip Smith of Poland Township.
Also hosting the event were another daughter and son-in-law, Becky and John Chmura of Lowellville.
The family circle also includes their sons and daughters-in-law, Duane Sr. and Alberta Wells and Jeffrey and Susan Wells, all of Largo, Fla., and their nephew, Ted Kurz, whom the couple raised, and his wife, Jeannie, also of Florida. A son, Mark, is deceased. There are 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren in the family.
The former Norma Williams and Mr. Wells were married July 28, 1943, at the Chapel of Friendly Bells in Youngstown.
They continue to work at the family business, Prototype Plastics, Clearwater, Fla. Mr. Wells is a U.S. Air Force veteran. Mrs. Wells belongs to a clogging team.
