XORLANDO, Fla. -- The Polynesian Resort at Disney World provided the setting Aug. 12 for the wedding and reception of Marlana M. Smith and Andrew J. Opsitnik, both of 6064 Treaty Lane, Galloway.
The Rev. Jack Day heard the exchange of vows during a 9 a.m. ceremony.
Since returning from their honeymoon at Disney World, the couple are living in Columbus.
Parents of the bride are JoAnn and Earl H. Smith, 3432 S. Raccoon Road, Canfield. The groom is a son of Elaine S. Opsitnik, 1962 Holbrooke Road, and Donald A. Opsitnik, 8135 Camella Drive, both of Poland.
Mrs. Opsitnik is employed in customer service at Schottenstein's in Columbus.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in engineering, Mr. Opsitnik is the assistant project manager at ADR & amp; Associates in Columbus.
The bride wore a white, off-the-shoulder dress accented by a beaded bodice. Her ensemble was complemented by a crystal tiara and a veil.
Elizabeth A. Opsitnik of Poland, sister of the groom, was honor attendant and wore an iridescent teal dress.
Performing the duties of best man was William Pazel of Melbourne, Fla., the bride's uncle and godfather.
