XSTRUTHERS -- Jennifer Calabrette and Kyle DeBrosse, both of 1644 Twin Oaks Drive, Toledo, were married at 2 p.m. Aug. 2 at St. Nicholas Church.
The Rev. Phillip Rogers presided, and a reception was held afterward at St. Nicholas Byzantine Center, Youngstown.
The bride, a daughter of William and Joyce Calabrette, 238 Wilson St., and the groom, a son of Patrick and Susan DeBrosse, 1101 Washington Ave., Piqua, honeymooned in Jamaica and live in Toledo.
The bride wore a strapless gown designed with a beaded bodice and a full tulle skirt.
Apple-colored gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Billie Jo Parker, and the bridesmaids, Lisa Kalbasky, Lisa Shannon, Jennifer Gavalier, Stacy Smith, Erin Essex, Holly Safarek and the groom's sister, Heather DeBrosse. Flower girl was the bride's niece, Leah Calabrette.
The duties of best man were shared by Doug DeMange and Kevin Rouse. Serving as groomsmen were Derek DeBrosse, the groom's brother; Dan Calabrette, brother of the bride; Archie Parker, her brother-in-law; Nick Badgett; Chris Essex; and Dustin Lampe. The bride's nephews, Connor Calabrette and Andrew Parker, were ring bearers.
The bride and groom graduated from the University of Toledo with bachelor's degrees, hers in education and his in finance. She is an elementary school teacher with Toledo Public Schools, and he is a credit manager with Wells Fargo Financial in Oregon, Ohio.
