Family dinner held to celebrate Thomae jubilee



XYOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Thomae, 503 S. Hazelwood Ave., were honored during a family dinner Aug. 23 at Shakespeare's Restaurant, Ellwood City, Pa., for the celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts and hostess for the event were the honoree's daughter and son-in-law, Erica and Tony Napolitano of Boardman, and their son, Mark Thomae of Walnut Creek, Calif.
The former Fritzie Kascher and Mr. Thomae were married Aug. 23, 1953, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Now retired from Cold Metal Products, Mrs. Thomae was a customer-service representative.
Mr. Thomae, also retired, was the personnel director at Falcon Foundry Co. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Mr. and Mrs. Thomae are members of First Unitarian Church.
The family circle includes two grandchildren.
