Anniversary party planned for the Quimbys

XAUSTINTOWN -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Quimby, 5546 Barkley Ave., will be celebrated Sept. 13 during a party at A La Cart Catering in Canfield.
Invitations for the event have been extended by their family, David and Michelle Quimby of Austintown and Joe and Nancy Quimby of Boardman.
The former Elizabeth Lombardi and Mr. Quimby were married Sept. 12, 1953, at Holy Name Church in Washington. They are members of Smith Corners United Methodist Church.
Mr. Quimby is retired from Ohio Edison Co. He is a veteran of the Korean War and a member of Mahoning County Coon Hunters Club. His wife is a homemaker. They have two grandchildren.
