Anniversary party held for Sheridans by family members

XSTRUTHERS -- Mr. and Mrs. William Sheridan of Struthers were honored during a dinner party held Aug. 30 at Johnny's Restaurant in Youngstown in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the festivity were the couple's sons and daughters-in-law, William and Katie Sheridan of Frederick, Md., James Sheridan of Austintown, and Michael and Kathy Sheridan of Boardman. Four grandchildren complete their family circle.
The former Lee Bernard and Mr. Sheridan were united in marriage Aug. 29, 1953, at St. Patrick Church in Youngstown. They renewed their vows June 8 during a ceremony held at St. Columba Cathedral, Youngstown.
Mr. Sheridan served with the military and later worked in the steel mills in Campbell before retiring in 1984. Mrs. Sheridan worked for Strausbaugh Motors on Wick Avenue. The couple are members of Holy Family Church.
