XSTRUTHERS -- Denis Crawford, 1356 Redtail Hawk Drive, Boardman, and his bride, the former Amy Graban, 4349 New Castle Road, Lowellville, honeymooned on the Hawaiian island of Kauai after their wedding Aug. 2 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
The Rev. William Petrunak presided at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony, and the couple accepted congratulations during a reception at the Grand Ballroom of the Holiday Inn South, Boardman.
The bride is a daughter of Emil Graban of the Lowellville address and the late Veronica Graban. The groom's parents are James and Louisa Crawford, 2100 Nursery Road, Clearwater, Fla.
They live at the Redtail Hawk Drive address.
Soutache and gold threads adorned the bride's two-piece, strapless gown of matte satin, and the skirt flowed into a cathedral train.
Berry- and cream-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Jeannie Wood, and the bridesmaids, Melanie Kintner, Lisa Palazzo, Jenie Stokes and Denise Watson.
Best man was John Watson, and groomsmen were Ed Casey, Louis Gutierrez, Mark Stetzer and Billy Graban. Ushers were William Graban and Robert Graban.
The bride, an assistant professor at Youngstown State University, earned a bachelor's degree at Miami University, a master's at Indiana State University, and a doctorate at Florida State University.
The groom graduated from Florida State with both a bachelor's and a master's degree.
