YOUNGSTOWN -- The Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber won three top national awards at the American Chamber of Commerce Executives' annual conference in Denver. It won awards for highest membership growth, highest net gain in membership and retention among chambers of its size. The chamber has nearly 2,700 members, nearly double what it had five years ago.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Peter Woodlock, the chairman of the department of accounting and finance at Youngstown State University, has been named a member of the executive board of the Ohio Society of CPAs. He is chairman of the editorial advisory board of the society's magazine, Catalyst, and is past editor of the Ohio CPA Journal.
