Closings: All branches will be closed Aug. 30 through Sept. 1 for the Labor Day holiday. Main will be closed Sept. 20-21 for the Heritage Festival in downtown Warren.
Hours: Beginning Sept. 28, Main will resume Sunday hours. The library will be open from 1-5 p.m. for walk-in customers only. The Main Library will not be resuming weekday fall hours, but will continue closing at 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Due to anticipated shortfalls both this year and next, hours of operation at the Lordstown Branch have been reduced. The new schedule is: Monday, noon-8 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, closed; Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Library Cards: September is Library Card Sign-up month. Every Warren city school will be receiving library card applications for their first-grade classes. Introduce your child to reading and to the library by filling out the application and returning it to your child's teacher.
