WEB COMMUNICATIONS New YSU program

A technology core of a computer science and information systems survey course; BASIC programming or programming and problem solving; multimedia technology; and Web site development.
Three of the following: networking concepts; visual/object-oriented programming; E-commerce programming; introduction to computer graphics; multimedia authoring; computer technology for digital image processing; or a special, approved topic.
An English/professional writing and editing/journalism core of news reporting; professional/technical communication; proposal/report writing; professional/technical editing.
Three or four of the following: feature writing; editorial/opinion writing; journalism workshop; newspaper editing/design; or on-line text workshop.
A marketing communications course.
An internship through either department.
Various general education and elective courses.
