Coroner looks into shooting of Leetonia man

LEETONIA -- The Mahoning County coroner's office is investigating the shooting of a 19-year-old Leetonia man.
Leetonia Police Chief John Soldano said Chris Orinsak died Tuesday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center from a gunshot wound to the head. The shooting occurred around 7:10 p.m. Monday in the home of Mark and Tammy Simonds, 106 W. Main St.
The Columbiana County prosecutor's office is assisting in the investigation.
The Simondses were home at the time of the shooting, Soldano said.
He said police removed a .22-caliber handgun that they believe was the weapon.
Soldano said Orinsak was staying at the home because he was in a relationship with one of the Simondses' daughters.
