CRIME SOLVERS Mercer County

The robbery of a video store in nearby Trumbull County is the focus of Mercer County Crime Solvers this week:
Crime: Armed robbery.
Location: Brookfield Township.
Details: Police said a man armed with a rifle walked into the Movie Zone in Brookfield Center around 6:20 p.m. Aug. 14 and demanded cash. He escaped with an undisclosed amount.
Description of suspect: The gunman is believed to be a white man and had a number of ACE bandages wrapped about his face to conceal his identity. He is about 5 feet 9 inches tall and has a medium to large build. He is believed to have been driving a 1980s blue truck with rust spots on the rear wheel well.
