BUHL DAY Schedule of events

Buhl Day is on Labor Day and most of the community celebration will take place in Buhl Park. Some events occur before Buhl Day. Activities include:
AUG. 30
9:30 a.m.: 18th annual junior tennis tournament.
8 a.m.: Men tee off at the 45 and over golf tournament at Buhl Land Golf Course. Tee time for women is 11 a.m.
9 a.m.-noon: Annual fishing derby at Lake Julia.
6-8 p.m.: Valley Arts Guild and Buhl Day Committee reception at the Activities Building.
SEPT. 1
9 a.m.: F.H. Buhl Memorial Service at Oakwood Cemetery.
9:25 a.m.: F.H. Buhl Club 5K Run from Kerrwood Drive to Buhl Park.
9:30 a.m.: Parade from Hermitage Towne Plaza to the park.
Noon: Opening ceremony at the Performing Arts Center.
1-5 p.m.: Children's Theatre at The Casino.
1 and 3 p.m.: Buhl Mermaids in the park pool.
12:45-7:30 p.m.: Live entertainment at the Performing Arts Center.
