Churches, Weed & amp; Seedgather school supplies
YOUNGSTOWN -- Three organizations have come together to provide school supplies to Sheridan Elementary School pupils and teachers this coming school year.
Youngstown Weed & amp; Seed Program, Martin Luther Lutheran Church and Holy Trinity Missionary Baptist Church will provide a package of school supplies to pupils on the first day of school, Sept. 2. Teachers also will receive supplies for themselves as well as extra supplies to be given to their pupils as needed.
Church members will package the supplies from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Martin Luther Lutheran Church, 420 Clearmount Drive.
This is the fifth year Youngstown Weed & amp; Seed and Martin Luther Lutheran Church have provided the school supplies. Holy Trinity joined this year.
