CCCN plans second annual event

COLUMBIANA -- Canfield Community Care Net will sponsor its second annual golf classic Sept. 8 at The Links at Firestone Farms.
Cost is $100 per golfer and includes a golfer luncheon, 18 holes of golf including cart and fees, complimentary beverages, souvenir package, tournament prizes, raffle tickets, dinner with an auction and a chance for a hole-in-one prize of a Chrysler automobile. Registration is limited to 144 golfers on a first-come basis.
Registration and lunch will be held from 10 to 11:15 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 11:30. Dinner and the silent auction are set for 5 p.m. Those wishing to attend the dinner only will be charged $25 per person.
The organization is marking the end of its first year of service to the Canfield community, having been founded as a nonprofit organization to help with ongoing needs of families in crisis.
