XCANFIELD -- The Rev. Terrence Hazel officiated at 2 p.m. July 19 for the marriage ceremony of Nicole Louise Scardina, daughter of Samuel Scardina, 2050 Hemlock Court, Austintown, and Deborah Scardina, 4408 Woodridge Drive, Austintown, and Robert John Tieche, son of Robert and Debra Tieche, 104 W. Main St.
A reception took place that evening at the Maronite Center in Youngstown, and the couple honeymooned at Niagara Falls. They live at 45 Maple St.
The bride's white strapless organza gown was designed with a fitted bodice. The skirt was embellished with beaded appliqu & eacute;s and flowed to a semicathedral train.
Her twin sister, Samantha Scardina, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were another sister, Suzanne Scardina; her cousin, Christine Scardina Smith; the groom's sister, Katie Tieche; Lisa Deeds; and Kristin McDonald. They wore lilac dresses. Alyssa Serensky, the groom's niece, was flower girl.
Scott Shaffer performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Mark Pitzer, Brad Myers, Joe Serensky and the groom's cousin, Chuck Tieche.
Mrs. Tieche attended Youngstown State University and is a public-safety dispatcher for the city of Canfield. She also is a certified emergency medical technician.
Her husband graduated from the paramedic program at Youngstown State University and is a firefighter-paramedic as well as emergency medical services director for the Canfield Fire Department.
