XYOUNGSTOWN -- The wedding of Lena Marie Clyde and Bruce Edward Holloway took place at 2 p.m. Aug. 1 at Martin Luther Lutheran Church with the Rev. Paul Camp officiating. Parents of the couple are Jim and Dru Clyde, 284 Wilson St., Struthers, and Regina Holloway, 812 N. Bentley Ave., Niles, and the late James Holloway.
A reception followed at The Georgetown in Boardman, and the couple honeymooned in Maui, Hawaii. They are living at 902 N. Bentley Ave., Niles.
The bride wore a princess-style gown designed with an empire waistline, spaghetti straps and a chapel train. It was enhanced with embroidery and beading.
Nicole Davis was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Cindy Collins, Nancy Garner, Shawna Chuey, Maria Pallante, Michelle Clyde, Mary Grace Rowlands and Carrie Clyde. Junior bridesmaids were Cassandra Clyde, Emily Holloway and Haley Holloway. They wore lilac gowns. Laney and Sarah Holloway were flower girls.
Best man was Donnie Holloway, and groomsmen were Wayne Collins, Dave Guerra, Dave Tripodi, Chris Rickard, John Davis, John Holloway and Brad Clyde. Michael Holloway, the groom's nephew, was ring bearer.
Mrs. Holloway graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in education and is a fourth-grade teacher with Howland Local Schools. Her husband holds a degree in history from YSU, where he is pursuing his teaching certificate. He is a quality-control inspector at Schaefer Equipment Inc. in Warren.
