XAUSTINTOWN -- Monsignor George Appleyard presided as Kristina O'Mellan and Robert Jensen, both of Austintown, were united in marriage at 2 p.m. July 19 at St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church.
After an evening reception at A La Cart Catering in Canfield, the couple left on a wedding trip to St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands.
The bride is a daughter of Suzanne O'Mellan of Austintown and the late Robert O'Mellan Sr. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Mich., with a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy.
Parents of the groom are Larry and Nancy Jensen of Youngstown. He is employed as a press operator at Extrudex in North Jackson and is attending Youngstown State University.
The bride's laced-up, strapless, ivory gown was enhanced with lilac, green and gold beading that covered the bodice, extended down the side of the skirt and edged the train.
Honor attendants were Tia Fisher and Ella Jankewicz, and bridesmaids were Liz Salcedo; Andrea Fedewa; Janina-Marie Tatar, the bride's cousin; and Abby Jensen, sister of the groom. They wore Victorian lilac gowns. Flower girls were Jordan Fisher and the bride's niece, Brytny Connors.
Scott Fisher served as best man, and groomsmen were Robert O'Mellan Jr., the bride's brother; Russell Moss, Tim O'Mellan and Matt McKinney, her cousins; and Teddy Moschella. Ring bearer was Dyllin Connors, the bride's nephew.
