Kohuths observe ruby anniversary at dinner party



XBOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kohuth, 3937 Risher Road, were honored Aug. 22 at a dinner at Birch Hill Cabin, Mill Creek Park, Youngstown, in celebration of their 40th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the festivities were the couple's sons and daughters-in-law, Bill Jr. and Kris Kohuth and Brian and Laurie Kohuth, all of Boardman, and their four grandsons.
Mr. Kohuth and the former Shirley Murphy were married Aug. 24, 1963, at St. Christine Church in Youngstown. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 to 1962 and retired in 2000 from Ameritech in Youngstown, where he was a repair technician. He belongs to the Youngstown Rifle and Pistol Club, the Saxon Club and a traveling golfleague.
His wife is a homemaker and member of Meander Golf Club and the Saxon Club.
The Kohuths belong to the Hungarian Presbyterian Church in Youngstown, where they are elders and members of the choir. Mrs. Kohuth also serves as moderator of the Presbyterian Women.
