XMERCER, Pa. -- Kelly Gatewood and Adam R. Burns, both of 2765 Morefield Road, Hermitage, Pa., were united in marriage by the Rev. Mark Thompson during a 3 p.m. ceremony July 19 at Lebanon Presbyterian Church.
A reception was held afterward at the Good Shepherd Hall in West Middlesex, Pa., in honor of the daughter of William and Shirley Gatewood, 936 Bend Road, and the son of Brett and Susan Gassner, 300 Gilkey Road, West Middlesex, and Michael and Denise Burns of Indiana.
Erin Bowers of New Bedford, Pa., was her sister's honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Sara Piatek of West Middlesex, Jennifer Fauth of Ingram, Pa., and Dana Guerrieri of Boardman.
Serving as best man was Brett Gassner Jr. of West Middlesex, the groom's brother, and groomsmen were Tim Van Buren and Marc Bator, both of West Middlesex, and the groom's cousin, Jason Burns of Grove City, Pa. Ushers were the groom's brothers, Seth and Ethan Gassner, both of West Middlesex.
The bride, a veterinary assistant at South Mill Pet Care Center Veterinary Hospital, Canfield, is pursuing a degree from St. Petersburg College in Florida.
The groom graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in elementary education and is employed in therapeutic staff support at Sharon Regional Hospital.
The couple live at the Hermitage address.
