XGIRARD -- The Rev. Peter Haladej presided as Julie Jamieson and Matthew Dion, both of 39252 Nottingham, Westland, Mich., were married during a 2 p.m. ceremony July 19 at St. Rose Church. A reception was held at McMenamy's in Niles, then the newlyweds honeymooned at Kauai, Hawaii. They live in Westland.
The bride's parents are Thomas and Deborah Jamieson, 105 Regency Drive, Uniontown, Pa., and Carl and Diane Fossaceca, 3142 Wildwood Drive, McDonald, and the groom is a son of Rosemary Richards of South Euclid and Marc Dion Sr. of Tallmadge.
The bride's two-piece, A-line gown of organza was enhanced with schiffli lace, pearls and sequins.
Wine-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Cara Jamieson, and the bridesmaids, Shaina Jamieson, Marcy Kuntz, Janet Gross, Renee Marshall, Rhonda Moore, Amy Muche, Britten Farrar and Michaella Dinard. Junior bridesmaid was Taylor Jamieson, and miniature bride was Morgan Marshall.
Marc Dion Jr. served as best man, and groomsmen were Sean Richards, Chris Fossaceca, Dave Kuntz, David Gross, Jon Marshall, Chad Goekel, Dr. Steve Scanlan, Erik Yamokoski and Scott Anderson. Junior groomsman was Anthony Fossaceca, and ring bearer was Matthew Manna.
The bride is a teacher with Dearborn Public Schools in Michigan. The groom is a product development engineer with Ford Motor Co. in Livonia, Mich. They are graduates of Miami University.
