XCOLUMBUS -- Julie Lynn Brink, 286 Directory Drive, and Joseph William Harris, 72 Mockingbird Court, Pickerington, exchanged marriage vows before the Revs. Sarah Talley and Dale Schaefer during a ceremony at 3:30 p.m. July 26 at Christ Lutheran Church.
The newlyweds, the children of James and Susan Brink, 12809 Oldham Ave., Pickerington, and W. Scott and Joyce Harris, 450 N. Liberty St., East Palestine, received guests during a reception at the Holiday Inn East.
Since returning from a honeymoon to Hilton Head, S.C., the couple live in Pickerington.
Pearls embellished the bride's white, strapless satin gown styled with a full skirt.
Mrs. Harris graduated from Capital University with a bachelor's degree in intervention specialist. Mr. Harris earned a bachelor's degree in education at Ohio State University, where he is pursuing a master's degree. They are employed by Pickerington School District, she as a learning disabilities teacher and he as a physical education teacher.
The bride's sister, Jamee Brink, was honor attendant. She wore a cranberry dress, as did the bridesmaids, Andrea Fejes, Amber Lee, Cheryl Streepy and Liz Hines. Flower girl was Caitlin Hughes.
The groom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were Chad Harris and Mike O'Heron, the groom's cousins; Michael Brink, the bride's brother; and Mike Stadulis. Stephen Brink, her brother, was ring bearer, and ushers were Dale Youmans, Dave Harkless and Don Thomas.
Also participating were Vicki Thomas and Theresa Wahl.
