JULIA VANDERGRIFF | JOSEPH SIMMONS

XWARREN -- Julia Victoria Vandergriff, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Vandergriff of Howland, and Joseph Simmons, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Simmons of Girard, were united in marriage July 19 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
The Rev. John Summers officiated at the ceremony, and a champagne brunch reception was held afterward at Opus Twenty-One in Howland.
The couple left on a honeymoon cruise to the eastern Caribbean and live in Howland.
Serving as honor attendant for the bride was Joanne Henslee.
The duties of best man were performed by Mark Simmons, the groom's son.
The bride graduated from Hiram College and earned a master's degree in counseling at Youngstown State University. She is a supervisor with Trumbull County Children Services.
The groom is a sales consultant with The Eaton Group, GMAC Real Estate, in Howland.
