XNEW SPRINGFIELD -- Jessica B. Popio and Adam G. Holt, both of 2399 Columbiana Road, were married by the Rev. Frank Podolinski Jr. during a ceremony at 2:30 p.m. July 19 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
The newlyweds accepted congratulations during a reception at The Embassy, Youngstown, then left for a western Caribbean cruise.
The bride is a daughter of Robin R. Popio and Anthony S. Popio Jr., both of 14320 High St., Petersburg. The groom is a son of Deborah S. Holt of New Springfield and Jack D. Holt of New Middletown.
The bride's white A-line gown was enhanced by an antique gold inlay.
Mrs. Holt graduated from At-Home Professions, Fort Collins, Colo. She is a medical assistant and transcriptionist with Dr. P.R. Lakhani in Boardman. Mr. Holt is a lead operator at Cantar/Polyair in Youngstown.
Dawn Biegenwald of Pittsburgh was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Amanda and Ashley Holt of New Springfield, the groom's sisters, and Jeri Finley of New Middletown. They wore celadon-colored dresses. Flower girls were Madelyn Kist of Austintown, the bride's cousin, and Alyssa Holt of New Springfield, the couple's daughter.
Aaron Holt of New Middletown, the groom's brother, served as best man. Groomsmen were Kevin Popio of Columbus, the bride's brother; David Morris of Delaware; and Peech Petrus of New Springfield. The bride's cousin, Dakota Pugh of East Palestine, was ring bearer.
