XNILES -- William R. Slanina III and his bride, the former Jennifer R. McCabe, both of 3210 Flo-Lor Drive, Youngstown, accepted congratulations during a reception at The Center at Brittany Place after their July 25 wedding at Pleasant Valley Church.
The Rev. Dan McCullough presided at the 3 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of George and Deborah Curl, 86 Lipply Road, Columbiana, and son of William and Brenda Slanina, 2450 Rosewood Ave., Youngstown.
The bride is a clerical worker with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Youngstown, and the groom is a laborer with McBain Industries, Youngstown. They live in Youngstown.
The bride's white strapless A-line gown was embellished with beading.
Julie Morar, the bride's sister and honor attendant, wore a gold gown. Wearing Victorian blue gowns were the bridesmaids, Genevieve Curl, a sister of the bride; Christie Slanina, the groom's sister; Edwina Baier; Allison Aracich; and Gina Harrison. Flower girls were the bride's nieces, Bethany Curl and Miranda Morar.
Christopher Slanina, the groom's brother, served as best man, and groomsmen were Scott McGillvary, the bride's brother-in-law; Bruce Noble, her cousin; Morgan Harris; Pepe Parish; and J.R. Moore. Ring bearer was the bride's nephew, Daniel Morar.
