Man to return to prison
YOUNGSTOWN -- A Mahoning County judge ordered a 21-year-old man who violated the conditions of his probation to serve the remaining 17 months of his prison sentence.
"What's your problem?" Judge Maureen A. Cronin of common pleas court asked Tristan Reese, of Warren, during Friday's probation violation hearing.
Judge Cronin said Reese violated the conditions of his probation by testing positive for marijuana and failing to report for probation meetings.
Reese was sentenced in July 2002 to 18 months in prison. He was given judicial release, formerly known as shock probation, about a month after he started serving his sentence. Reese was convicted of four counts of having unlawful sexual contact with a minor for having sex with his 13-year-old girlfriend when he was 19.
