XGREENSBURG, Pa. -- The wedding of Erin Peters and Ryan Barnot, both of St. Louis, took place at 3:30 p.m. July 19 at First United Methodist Church and was followed by a reception at Greensburg Country Club.
The Rev. Dr. Robert Losh and the Rev. James Patterson presided at the ceremony for the daughter of Jim and Odeana Peters, 115 Old Farm Road, Irwin, Pa., and the son of Joseph and Linda Barnot, 1021 Park Circle Drive, Girard.
The couple, who postponed their honeymoon cruise to the western Caribbean until late August, live in St. Louis.
The bride's A-line gown of white satin and organza featured spaghetti straps and a cathedral train, and was embellished with pearls and sequins.
Wisteria-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Jenna Groff, and the bridesmaids, Jordan Smith, Alexis Selfridge, Andrea Moffatt, Molly Rafferty, Melissa Poole and Samantha Wahl. Flower girl was Sara Peters.
Jason Barnot served as best man, and groomsmen were Shawn O'Connell, Aaron Selfridge, Rob Frankford, Bob Mattson, Alan Tramontaua, and Sean Curran. Ushers were Dennis Vari, Dr. Tony Jones, and Doug Peters, and also participating was Gary Evans.
The bride and groom graduated from Mount Union College in Alliance with bachelor's degrees, hers in elementary education, and his in biology. He will graduate in December from Logan Chiropractic College.
