Dispute leaves man shot in leg
NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- A city man was shot in the leg after a dispute at a Croton Avenue home, police said.
John Fuqua II, 22, of Neshannock Boulevard, is charged with aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and carrying a firearm without a license.
Police arrested Fuqua a short time after the 11:15 p.m. shooting at his home. Fuqua and Brian Payne, 19, of North Lee Avenue, were arguing when Payne was shot in the leg, police said.
Payne was treated at Jameson Hospital.
Fuqua was arraigned before District Justice James Reed and was in Lawrence County jail this morning after failing to post $25,000 bond.
