Wedding planned by Miss McKay, Mr. Berardino

XCANFIELD -- The engagement of Carolyn D. McKay, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas M. McKay Sr., and Nicholas P. Berardino, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald R. Berardino, all of Canfield, is being announced by her parents.
The bride-elect graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, N.C. The future groom earned a bachelor's degree at Mount Union College, Alliance. He is employed at the Home Savings and Loan Co. in Youngstown.
The couple have planned a wedding for Oct. 3, the same date that her parents and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul E. Peters, were married. The ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. at the home of her parents , where a reception will be held afterward.
